Shifting Direction a bit with our Personal Development and Goal Setting Journey

By

Since April of 2009 the Your Success At Last blog has brought you 100+ tips, techniques, stories and examples of how you can use goal setting and personal development to build your life, you’re feeling of fulfillment and your success to your desired and deserved level.  Before that for years the Success Atlas blog did much the same thing.  But each of these danced in the personal development arena – stepping from one topic to the next.  Sometimes the flow of topics (and my brain) made sense and they it created a rhythmic personal development song, other times my stream of consciousness style of blogging created odd stops and starts in the self-help music.

OK so now that I have beat up the musical analogy sufficiently let me get to the point.   I am shifting this blog a bit.  Rather than grabbing the topic of the moment, either out of thin air of out of someone’s email or comment to me; I am going to try and take you on a personal development journey.   While I know I might lose a few readers in the process of this shift – I truly believe that for those that continue to read YourSuccessAtLast.com you will find some ‘eye’ opening ideas, tips, and techniques along the way.

I am going to begin this journey by taking you back a bit to how and why I personally began my personal development path.  Not to brag, or gain pity, but rather in the hopes of bonding with you.  Helping you see that there are probably many synergies in our worlds – no matter how far apart or different we may seem on the surface, we all go through trials and tribulations.  From here our self-help story begins or for some ends if they do nothing and cave to the pressures their world places up on them.

I welcome your input along the way.  Let me hear your stories, share your comments on what you read/see here, good or bad.  I am sharing sincerely and sincerely would enjoy hearing from you in return.

Looking forward to our journey together!
