just finished watching “Marley & Me.” I avoided this movie while it was in the theaters because of its ending. I had to put my much loved and beautiful dog “KO” down a few years back. I held all 180lbs of him in my arms as his left me alone in the room. So, I knew watching this movie would buy cheap Nicotinell online bring back the painful memory of his loss and remind me of how much I loved (and love) him.

But now that I have watched it I am VERY glad that I did…. why? Because it brought back the memory of loosing him and how much I loved him.

I think all too often we avoid some of the joys we have experienced in the past becuase of some event, or person that has tarnished them.  This movie, while a small example, reminded me that life is to lived and enjoyed – through it’s ups and downs.

The movie is two hours long… I laughed and giggled through about an hour and fourty five minutes of it and wept like a child for the last 15-20 minutes.

I believe that in itself is a lesson.. I will take 20 minutes of sadness in exchange for 5x as much time spent being happy.

And as I sit here writing this I am still remembering the joy that “KO” brought me so, that hour and fourty five minutes of happiness is still going meaning to me that 15-20 minutes of sadness in remembering him is going to bring me 10x that in heartfelt happiness today.

So don’t avoid the things that will make you smile for fear of them making you frown – more often then not, facing them will reap you rewards you can’t quite imagine as you step up to them.

Well here we go… launching into the world of blogging.  While I have been writing articles for about a decade now, I have yet to really dive into the blogging world.  Guess it’s time to get up to date.  Looking forward to sharing and hearing your input as we travel this road together.
